Hi, welcome to my channel.
My main objective on this channel is to upload recordings of artists that are not available in a digital format anywhere else, either on compact disc or for digital download. I have also attempted not to duplicate any tracks that have already previously been uploaded to RUclips. So all in all, I hope to achieve a truly unique channel of music tracks that have been released as a singles either during the 60's 70's or 80's.
The content has a heavy Southern Africa bias for two reasons; firstly this is where I grew up and secondly for some reason there seems to be an abundance of Southern African talent from that era that has simply disappeared from the radar. It seems the South African recording industry are either unable or lack the willingness to reproduce any of these tracks for public consumption.
This brings me to the sticky point of copyright. Although I purchased all these singles with my own hard earned cash (unfortunately no Napster in those days) I don't claim to own any copyright or publishing rights on any of the uploaded content. If any artist, producer or publisher feels I have infringed on their legal rights, I aplologise, and will gladly delete the affected track from the channel. However, I do believe that the greater crime would be to leave these tracks to be unheard and therefore be lost to history.
